Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault have wed in a small and hush-hush ceremony in Paris on Valentine's Day.

AceShowbiz - Salma Hayek and her fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault, have wed in Paris on Valentine's Day. The two, who are parents to one daughter, tied the knot in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris, according to Monday's online edition of the weekly French newsmagazine Le Point, which is owned by the Pinault family.
While neither of them has acknowledged that the wedding did take place, Sixth Arrondissement Mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq confirmed to the French news agency Agence France-Presse that the actress and the billionaire businessman's wedding was a small affair. Hayek's spokeswoman, Cari Ross, confirmed in an e-mail on Monday, February 16 that the marriage had taken place in Paris on Saturday. No further details were provided though.
Salma Hayek, 42, and Francois-Henri Pinault, 46, first met in Venice, Italy in May 2006. They announced their engagement in March 2007 and at the same time also made public that she was pregnant with their first child. In September the same year, their daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, was born.
In July 2008, a representative for Hayek confirmed the movie beauty had called off her engagement to Pinault, the chairman and chief executive officer of the luxury goods company PPR SA, which owns high-end labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Stella McCartney. "We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled," so the representative said. The representative, nevertheless, declined to elaborate more on that matter.
In September the same year, Hayek and Pinault were seen together again. They were spotted getting cozy at the Balenciaga runway show as part of Paris Fashion Week. Since that time they were believed to have rekindled their romance.
