Performances from big stars during a live ceremony of this year's NAACP Image Awards have been made available to watch through newly-found video footage. Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Hudson were those who entertained music lovers at the event.
Appearing on-stage as an opening act, Beyonce delivered "Halo", the ballad song coming off her third solo studio album "I Am...Sasha Fierce". Meanwhile, Jennifer, who claimed triple victory at the awards, sang "The Impossible Dream".
2009 NAACP Image Awards has been held live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Thursday, February 12. Hosted by actress Halle Berry and actor/director Tyler Perry, it honors the best in music, television, movie, and literature.

The values of the NAACP members are reflective of the popular culture. I have stopped believing that the "Image" Award was for individuals who's portrayals in the entertaiment field were reflective of positive things. Beyonce is a beautiful, talented woman but I've seen her videos. Encouraging our young girls to shake half naked to the music may get more air time but I would prefer something that reinforced values that would steer them toward dignity instead of Hoochie as a way to attract attention.
These Ladies are the Best. I just wish people would stop putting them against eah other.
I really enjoyed Jennifer Hundson Performance.
It is good to see Jennifer out and performing again. She is a very beautiful and talented woman and I wish her the best.
