Rick Ross' beef with fellow rapper 50 Cent continues as he reveals to call his upcoming mixtape "Before I Self Destruct", the same title carried by Fiddy's new album. As if trying to challenge Fiddy, he also plans to bring out the mixtape before Fiddy's record is dropped to market.

Commenting on the war between the two rap moguls, Island Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid denies the rumor, which claims that he endorses their beef. "I love Rick Ross," he shares. "I consider 50 a friend. I don't encourage anything that represents ignorance and nonsense."

"I just hope these two guys are smart enough, mature enough and rich enough that this shouldn't last," Reid furthermore explains. "I haven't been following it, honestly, but Rick Ross is my artist. I support him. I support his artistic beliefs and dreams. 50 is my friend and a fellow superstar in our business. I respect him and his legacy. I hope they work it out."

The hatred between Rick Ross and 50 Cent started when Ross dissed Fiddy in a single called "Mafia Music". In response to Ross' song, Fiddy came out shouting "Officer Ricky radio for backup/ See your a-- anyway, you know I'm gonna act up/ You wanna play with me when I don't wanna play?... " in a single titled "Officer Ricky". However, Ross said he wasn't impressed with it and stated, "We gonna give him 48 hours. Time to come up with another [track]!"

Rick Ross will drop his third major studio effort "Deeper Than Rap" on March 24 in the U.S. market. He will collaborate with John Legend in "Magnificent", the song rumored to be the first single in his upcoming album.

Other than the fact that he also eyes to drop "Before I Self Destruct" in March, 50 Cent meanwhile hasn't set any exact release date for the effort. Recent news says that "Crack a Bottle", the single which teams him up with Eminem and Dr. Dre on the hook, will also be featured in Fiddy's new album.
