Rihanna has canceled her scheduled live concerts in Indonesia and Malaysia, which were originally planned on February 12 and 13 respectively.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna is confirmed to have canceled her live concerts in Asia, including the one held in Malaysia as Los Angeles police continue their investigation over Chris Brown's alleged attack on a woman, who is widely believed as the pop songstress. Stepping forward to give the announcement on that matter are concert promoters for the shows themselves.

Stating that makeup date for the Malaysian gig is expected to be announced in two weeks, Razman Razali, managing director for Malaysian show organizer Pineapple Concerts, says, "In light of recent events involving Rihanna, [William Morris Agency] will confirm within two weeks from now on a replacement date to be mutually agreed." He then adds, "We sincerely regret this unavoidable shift in schedule and apologize to the fans for any inconvenience caused."

Beside pulling off her show in Malaysia, Rihanna has also canceled her Indonesian makeup gig, which was supposed to take place on February 12, one day before her concert in Malaysia. "We regretfully announce that the concert has been canceled for the second time," the concert sponsor-promoter told local press.

In November 2008, Rihanna was supposed to perform at a sold-out gig in front of 6,000 concertgoers in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, she pulled off the gig due to security reason her camp claimed after three Islamic militants convicted in the 2002 Bali bombing were executed.

Chris Brown has also canceled his scheduled appearance in NBA All-Star to be held in Phoenix. He was originally planned to introduce the All-Star basketball players on Sunday, February 15 along with Phoenix Suns star Shaquille O'Neal and "America's Best Dance Crew" winner Jabbawockeez.
