John Mayer has reportedly written a special song to be given to his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston on her birthday party on February 11. Confirming the news is the winner of "Australian Idol" season one, Guy Sebastian, via a twitter post.
"Had to stop recording cause Mayer wanted to borrow his band back to record a song for Jennifer in the studio... All the girls go...awwwwww," so Guy wrote. Without explaining further, a source also told People that "he did write a special song just for her for her birthday."
John Mayer won Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards for his single "Say", which is taken from his 2006 album "Continuum" and serves as a soundtrack of 2008 movie "The Bucket List". During the acceptance speech, he said briefly, "Its always been an honor for being a musician."
