A brief look into "Inglourious Basterds" trailer has been provided by Entertainment Tonight (ET). While the trailer itself is promised to be released via the daily TV entertainment news show on Wednesday, February 11, the 25-minute sneak preview has teased many first look footage from the film.
Most of the footage shown by ET on the preview are focused on revealing Brad Pitt as Lieutenant Aldo Raine as he introduces himself to the group of soldiers he assembles, and one, in particular, exhibits the scene where Pitt is asking for Nazi's scalps from his crew. The snippet gives out many explosive and action-packed footage taken from the trailer as well.
Once titled "Inglourious Bastards", "Inglourious Basterds" will tell an intertwined story of a French Jewish teenager named Shosanna Dreyfus and a group of Jewish soldiers. While Shosanna seeks to avenge the death of her family who are executed at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a group of Jewish soldiers in a suicide mission to bring down leaders of The Third Reich.
Starred by Brad Pitt as the leader of the Basterds, The Weinstein Company movie also features Mike Myers, Diane Kruger, Melanie Laurent, Michael Fassbender and Julie Dreyfus among many others. Directed, co-produced and written by Quentin Tarantino, it has been set to be released in U.S. theaters on August 21.
