Several more details have been revealed in relation to the investigation that the LAPD has conducted against Chris Brown for alleged domestic violence felony battery. Amidst speculation on the identity of the female victim, Internet reports claimed Rihanna as the questioned victim. The "Umbrella" singer was said to have been hit and bitten by Chris. It was reported further that the songbird suffered "a bloody lip and nose" and might have bite wounds on one of her legs and arms.

Radar Online, in the meantime, claimed that a source inside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Rihanna was reportedly taken following the incident, said the singer became emotional when two female "assistants" went to visit her at the facility. "Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming," the source said. "Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get ... her point across."

Chris himself has turned himself in to the authorities on late Sunday, February 8, to be questioned in relation to the case. He was released later that day shortly after posting $50,000 bail. As of press time, the case has been presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, thus additional charges may be filed. Chris is scheduled for another court appearance on March 5.

On Monday, February 9, Wrigley gum has confirmed that it suspended its ads featuring Chris. In a statement issued by its spokesperson, the brand stated, "Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

Meanwhile, Chris and Rihanna have yet commented on the incident. Their people also haven't made a statement regarding that matter.

you guys r all sucking into all this crap..were only hearing one side of the story n of course discriminating against a man, we then want to feel sorry for the women n focus on her n make her the victim but what did she do to him? n how do we know hes not the victim...yes chris was not right by hitting her but how do we know if she didnt hit him first, how do we knw that he mightve been defending himself from her...we got to hear both sides to the story before jumping to some type of ridiculious conclusion..

If it's true she gave him a STD then I feel sorry of her, she's nasty. I don't like the fact that 2 people put their hands on eachother in anger but anybody that passes an STD to someone need the &&&& slapped out of them. I can't imagine Chris biting her nasty ***, only if rumors are true she had an STD.

All have fallen short of the glory of God. Just pray for both of them that lifes lessons be learned from it. All things happen for a reason. This could help young me and women to stop the violence through these two well known teens.

Its amazing that all you people can push aside that he abused her, no matter what happened verbally between them, who is he to physically harm her? If it were one of you, you all would be singing a different tune, hopefully she realizes this is a bad situation and stays away from him.

i can't believe this has happened. although chris b. was wrong for hitting a female, we still don't know exactly what happened in that car. we weren't there. so don't be to quick to judge him. what really happened will reveal itself in do time. it could've been u in the same situation and i am sure u wouldn't be thinking the same then.

LMFAO ..... Am sorry I don't feel bad for Rihanna .Where r these kids parents ? I wish I would let my daughter get swept up by some punk ass dude (that's all he is). Now some of these chicks do need the shit slapped out of them but u don't hit no woman.

We don't know that Rihanna is the victim. No Chris didn't have a right to hit her. But think...bite marks? Really, and where did that come from? I'm not on either side, until they themselves say what happened. I'm not believing anything besides the fact that Chris turned himself in. People shouldn't believe everything they read. And thats my oppinion, everyone is entitled to one.

If Rihanna does not leave him then I'll lose all respect for her and never listen to both music ever again! Black women are always preaching about how they will never put up with a man laying hands on them but they always end up giving them another chance.

I have read some of the comments and you people are ridiculous. This hip hop culture degrades women from actual beating to emotional abuse. Why do you dismiss what he did? This is a chance for Rihanna to make a stand. If she walks away from this thug regardless of his "talent?" then she tells the other thugs to start treating their woman correctly. If she goes back to him she is a door mat like Whitney Houston was. Its up to her now.
