Five Clips and Two TV Spots From Tyler Perry's 'Madea Goes to Jail'
Movie

Take a closer look at what Tyler Perry's famous Madea character gets herself into in the upcoming 'Madea Goes to Jail' through five clips and two TV spots of the comedy movie.

AceShowbiz - In support of the forthcoming theatrical release of "Madea Goes to Jail", five clips from the Tyler Perry's newest comedy film have been released. The clips are each titled "Ma to the DEA", "Madea Sentencing", "That's a Bet", "Intervention" and "Going to the Slammer". Meanwhile, the two TV spots are called "Big House" and "Trouble".

"Ma to the DEA", "Madea Sentencing" and "Going to the Slammer" clips focus on the main character, Madea, exposing her verbal battle with Big Sal, the time she is sentenced to five year imprisonment and the scene where her family wonders what trouble she will get herself into this time. The "That's a Bet" and "Intervention" clips, on the other hand, expose Candy's troubled life.

Clips aside, the two TV spots present different take on the comedy movie. While the "Big House" spot serves as the introduction of Madea and shows how far she would go if someone pushes her button, the "Trouble" spot features the eccentric character as the trouble maker and brings many never-before-seen footage to the table.

Inspired by Perry's play of the same name, "Madea Goes to Jail" marks Tyler Perry's return as physically imposing and overbearing, but well-intentioned Mable "Madea" Simmons. In the film, Madea's trouble-making act has finally landed her behind bars. But, it doesn't stop her from protecting Candy, a fellow inmate who becomes the subject of bully by a large woman named Big Sal.

For this comedy movie, Perry joins forces with Derek Luke who plays Joshua Hardaway and Keshia Knight Pulliam who stars as Candace "Candy" Washington. He is also supported by Vanessa Ferlito, Sofia Vergara, Keke Palmer and others. The Lionsgate Films movie is set to be opened in U.S. theaters on February 20.
