Finding it isn't easy to become famous, Demi Lovato on the other hand is feeling grateful for her current fame as an actress and singer.

AceShowbiz - Being a star has its ups and downs, and as for Demi Lovato the worst part of being famous is "that you have to watch everything you say," the actress-singer tells New York Daily News. "You have to be very careful," so she adds, reasoning that people can easily judge on anything she says.

"Sometimes I wish my life wasn't public," Demi openly reveals. "But I really don't have it that bad. I feel bad for Miley [Cyrus]. She has a million photographers following her everywhere."

Speaking about the mounting media attention that she and Miley Cyrus receive, Demi shares her confusion, insisting, "My life isn't any more exciting than theirs, but for some reason people think it is. I write and play music. Nothing makes my life more extravagant."

Demi, furthermore, tells New York Daily News she avoids reading the tabloids because sometimes the reports featured on them can eat her "alive". She frankly claims, certain reports "will definitely tear" her apart.

Despite all, Demi feels grateful for her sky-rocketing career in Hollywood entertainment business. "I still don't believe I've had half the success I've had. I hope I never wake up from this dream," she confesses.
