Paul McCartney, The Cure, The Killers and More Lined Up for 2009 Coachella Festival

Paul McCartney, The Cure and The Killers will be joined by Amy Winehouse, The Ting Tings and Franz Ferdinand among others as the musical acts of 2009 Coachella Music Festival.

Performers lineup for this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been announced, and Paul McCartney, The Cure as well as The Killers are among those signed up to perform at the annual event. In regard of the upcoming show, McCartney says to be thrilled stating, "I'm really excited to get out there and rock!"

Other musicians set to entertain music lovers during the festival to take place at Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif. include Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings and Amy Winehouse. Franz Ferdinand and The Ting Tings are both confirmed to sing on the first day of the festival, April 17, while Amy Winehouse will be performing the following day.

Morrissey, TV on the Radio, James Morrison and My Bloody Valentine are also scheduled to make live appearances at the gig, which will be wrapped up on April 19. More details on the performers lineup can be found on Coachella.com.
