MTV has previewed the first look at Super Bowl TV spot for "Race to Witch Mountain". While relatively shorter than the trailers, the one-minute snippet brings more never-before-seen footage from the Disney's adventure fantasy, teasing more on the action sequences as well as the ticklish scenes to be expected.
The spot kicks off with a scene in which two clone troopers are jumping into Jack Bruno's cab to Bruno's surprise. While the two clone-costumed men take their seats, Bruno gets a notice from headquarter that UFO convention is in town. The spot then cuts to the footage where Bruno is asking two teenagers aboard his cab where they are heading to, from then on the action-packed adventure begins to unravel.
"Race to Witch Mountain" is a remake of the original 1975 film "Escape to Witch Mountain". Directed by Andy Fickman, this thrilling action-adventure from Walt Disney Pictures tells the story of how a Las Vegas cab driver and a discredited astrophysicist come to aid two paranormal siblings from the hands of a villainous man. Starring The Rock, AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig and Carla Gugino, it will come out in theaters across the U.S. on March 13.

This looks awesome. Lighten up you bastards. Why so serious?
I'm still gonna see it but I don't think it will be anywhere near good as the original.
I'm think it's not being so bad. I love Rock for so long time when he do return of mummy. I think this is good movie for him.
I agree with beth.. I thought it was going to be better too. Looks like it might not be as good as I had hoped :(
Oh wow what is this..the 9th Witch Mountain sequel to come out now? Why'd they even make this? Is it really getting that bad in Hollywood now?
Why did they cast The Rock in this?...
Don't know about the movie but that ad sucked.
I'm still gonna see it. :)
I'm not sure this movie is going to be good. Like that other person said, I thought the first preview wasn't very good but I was keepin an open mind about it. Now after seeing this one, I'm beginning to think it's not so much the preview as much as the movie looks like it's not going to be good. I'm hoping it'll look better with more ads but I'm not feelin it so much now :(
The Rock's looking kinda ragged these days. What happened to that body he used to have? He was FIIIIINNNEEEE!! back in the wrestlin day. What happened? He cant have age that much? He looks dang near 50 now. :/
What is it with hollywood and all these remakes? I saw the originals decades ago and this looks ridiculous.
The movie seems cool, but the ad wasn't up to par. Looked like a regular commercial. Not a SuperBowl ad.
I'll see it because of The Rock, but I think I'll wait for the dvd.
period.
I still can't believe they are remaking this classic. WHY? They've turned my alltime fave from childhood into another boring "Rock" movie now. What's next? An entire cast of wwe's former wrestlers in a remake of The Wizard of Oz?
It looks pretty bad. Not what I would've expected from a Super bowl commercial. They should've chosen more different footage then the first ad showed. It would have at least been fresh. We've seen most of this footage already.
Ditto! This will suck. but I aint seeing 12 rounds either.
OMG that looks even WORSE than that stupid trailer! And here I thought it was going to get better! People all over were talking about how bad the trailer sucked and I kept telling myself, Ok even though it's a bad trailer, the next ad will be better. Well, F***this stupid movie. I'm NOT going to be seeing this crap. Thanks MTV for saving me $7 bucks! Bless you dudes. Now I can go see 12 Rounds TWICE instead.
