No Lara Croft Role for Megan Fox In New 'Tomb Raider' Film

A spokesperson for Megan Fox, the Mikaela Banes of 'Transformers', has thrown cold water to the speculation that Fox may replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in next 'Tomb Raider'.

Contrary to the circulating speculations, won't be the new Lara Croft in "". Looking for a confirmation for the story, IO9 came out with a rejecting statement from the 22-year-old's spokesperson. "She's not involved in the movie at all," so claimed the spokesperson on the rumor as quoted by IO9.

Days earlier, the possibility of Fox taking the place of as Lara Croft in next installment of "Tomb Raider" franchise has been outed by European site MeriStation. The report at the time noted that the "" actress has been favored to take on the heroine role since she shares a lot in common with Jolie.

Although the casting news around its leading character has been hyped, "Tomb Raider 3" is yet to have a director attached to the project. Meanwhile, the original "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" is a film adaptation of the Tomb Raider video game series. The Simon West's 2001 action movie successfully become the fourth-highest debut of 2001. A sequel, "", followed in 2003.

Good, that whore doesn't even come close to being worthy to play Lara Croft.
