Robert Pattinson says fame doesn't change the way he used to be as he still has the same friends and food preference.

AceShowbiz - Insisting that his life is just the same before and after becoming popular for portraying the role of Edward Cullen in "Twilight", Robert Pattinson reveals, "I would still rather eat fast food than tofu". He goes on stating, "I live the same exact life as before; I have the same friends and the same preferences. I haven't changed at all".

Giving more evidence that fame doesn't change him, Robert adds, "I'm a lousy driver, and I always have problems with my junky 1989 BMW". Asked why wouldn't he get himself a brand new car, he replies, "Sad to say, but I [still] don't make that much. And to tell you the truth, I'd like more".

Speaking of his payment, Robert Pattinson has denied the mounting rumors claiming he receives $12 million for starring in "New Moon". "I read some gossip thing saying, because I looked really uncomfortable in a paparazzi photo or something, they're like, 'He should get used to it. That's the price to pay if you're getting $12m (8.1m) a movie'", the British actor reveals, adding, "If I'm getting paid $12m a movie I'd walk around naked."

"That's all nonsense. I don't know who makes that stuff up. Even the price for the first one was nonsense," he continues. "I'm not really in it that much in the second one. The lead character is somebody else, which is another reason why I'm not being paid $12m. I've got two scenes," he says of the much awaited "New Moon."
