"Twilight" leading actor Robert Pattinson has been quoted as stating, "I'm not afraid of anything anymore." Explaining on his statement, he reveals, "You know, I've failed at so many things in my life ..... So now I'm like, 'If it crashes, it crashes. Who cares?'" He shared further, "I modeled when I was a teenager. In that job, you learn to take rejection in stride."
Previously, Robert told British magazine Closer that before becoming an actor he used to be a model from the age of 12. Unfortunately, he lost the job when he was 16 years old because he started to look too manly.
"When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool," so he told the publication. "Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modeling career."
Considered as a heartthrob and ladies' man following the success of "Twilight," Robert Pattinson recently was named one of MTV's Male Pop MVPs in 2009. Moreover, it is also claimed that Pattinson has attracted Courtney Love's attention. Love has been rumored to want him to date her daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

I to am old enough to be his Mom. He is a great actor. Move over Brad Pitt, Robert is #1 now. Gone With The Wind beware, here comes the Twilight series. Very good book & movie. The kids did a great job! For all you guys that did not like it, then don't watch it. Just don't even try to change our minds, we are here for the long haul, just like Robert!
I WISH PEOPLE WOULD REALLY STOP TRYING TO PUT WORDS IN HIS MOUTH. HE ONLY MEANT HE WAS NOT AFRAID TO BE HIMSELF NOW, & HE CAN DEAL WITH THE FAME THAT CAME WITH HIS SUCCESS. FOR PETE SAKE GIVE THE GUY A BREAK. HE IS GREAT & WE ALL KNOW THAT!! WISH HE WOULD LET ME BE HIS GRANDMA FOR A DAY SO I COULD SPOIL HIM. Robert can not act very disappointing. But currently listening to bruce springsteen and Secret Garden. Pattinson good but overacted. But whom am I but one who's soul has been lost to another who no longer cares for a truth of absolution reaso. I am nothing But if anyone needs a friend i am here....JUST SAW SHOOTING STAR
So i was on the internet searching through my casual news update websites when suddenly i see a new advertising of an article about a man, robert pattincon and his no fears? and i thought hay why not? i mean there musnt be much harm in reading this article? so i read it. who ever this jerk is? is obviously stupid to admit he has no fear? seriously!?? i f youve got no fear then what happens when you get older and people start to think eww! he looks wrinkly? or he isnt look so broad any more? you will start to be ignored! fame isnt everlasting. people dont love you they love your job status, your status quo and i bet you wont even have a long term relationship. because the hollywood fame would have turned you into another silly taned toy? have you put any thought into your relationship status? your bloody 22.! i would be getting married soon! a proper life style should have someone (age of 20-29) getting ready to be married and thinking of making a permanent career of their current lifestyle. fame isnt everything. and you should have fear or else there is nothing to look forward to? to overcome or to pass with flying colours. at least you should wait to say something like that when your around 60-70. i just pray that you live long enough to re accomodate yourself. *relieved sigh* satisfaction will start to operate when you go home to your personal family hood. after all you can start partying when your up in heaven. =)

Rob is an amazing actor and by his interviews he is an amazing guy i am 21 and yet all his fans are teens...no i love him and i think people who reject him.. well your lost!!!
i think robert is very talented and one of the sexiest men out there and yes i did say man i know the young girls are crazy over him but so are us ladies in our early 30s i admit it ive seen twilight 3 times and could watch everyday he made edward come alive and his voice in the movie wow
I am not a teen either, but find Rob absolutely irrisistable both on screen and off! I've read the Twilight books and found the movie just as magical (only after I watched it a couple of times!). Rob is so talented and honest and georgous. I hope he finds a good woman in his life. He has so much going for him and the sky is the limit... Would love to see his stardom shine for many many year (Same as it has for his idol Jack N.)
I have to agree with Elaine I too am old enough to be his mother but I am totally enthralled by him. His performances on screen draw you in so completely. my saying is "always remain optimistic because a healthy soul lives longer" your life is your own Rob. Take the power to choose what you love and want to do, and do not allow others to deter you. There will be times when people will try to discourage you from what you wish to do, so always remember that it is impossible to please everybody and continue on the path you choose. i wish you luck on whatever career/career's you choose.
I loved the novels & thought Rob potrayed Edward great. Can't wait for New Moon. Glad he is relaxing in London-he's earned it.
