'90210' will put the 'Juno' writer as a guest star in an unnamed episode later this season.
Being a superfan of "Beverly Hills, 90210", Diablo Cody gets to appear in its spin-off "90210". The screenwriter for "Juno" and "United States of Tara" will begin filming later this month although her role is not yet known by public or by herself.
"They have not told me anything yet," Cody said. "And to be completely honest, I'm dying to know." On how she secured the deal, Cody confessed, "I've raved about 90210 in Entertainment Weekly a number of times because I'm completely obsessed about the show in both reincarnations, old and new. They called and asked me if I wanted to be on 90210 and I'm like, 'I don't care if you want me to be in a bear suit. I'll do anything on 90210.'"
She added that she has been dying to work with Jason Priestley who does directing job in several episodes and also Tori Spelling whose reprisal of Donna Martin has just been announced earlier this month. She said, "I love Jason Priestley. I love Tori Spelling. I am so psyched. I have been talking about it so much that I am convinced they are going to call me at any moment and say, 'You're out!'"
