Pop singer David Archuleta, who has sung a number of love songs, has no hesitation to publicly admit that unlike many other guys at his age he is "still waiting for the right moment" for his first kiss. "I think so many people want to rush things, they want to rush hanging out, they want to rush making out, and then it's like they don't even know the person they're with," so he shares his perception about first kiss to Seventeen.
He goes on talking about some points he knows about girls and guys in common. "I think girls get a bad rap for being emotional all the time. But I think a lot of guys are too. A lot of my guy friends, they really feel things deeply," he says.
He continues telling Seventeen, "Girls tend to blame themselves, even when the guy is the one who messed up. My girlfriends will tell me about something a guy did, and I'm like, 'That's not your fault.' Sometimes guys are just dork faces. But girls don't see it that way."
David Archuleta, runner-up of the 7th season "American Idol", has so far released one album. His LP, an eponymous one, has been released on the U.S. stores since November 11 last year.

David rocks!!he's awesome! how great is it to have a sensible celeb who actually has morals. i think there's so much pressure on people to have their first kisses before the 'right time'!! at the age of 16 i had my first kiss with a guy i didn't even know just to get it out of the way... all my friends had had theirs and i felt left out. now i really regret my first kiss being with some looser. it was completely meaningless!

yeah..... i think he's so cool. because he wants to give his first kiss for someone really special for him... And i think that is so polite too. Because he appreciate a meaning of a kiss.
