Despite his worldwide fame, Robert Pattinson admits he can't bear having his pictures taken. Opening up about that matter to TeenMix, the heartthrob says, "I don't really like getting my photo taken, which is probably not a great thing if you are going to be an actor." He continues stating, "I don't really cope with it. I mean, I guess I've stopped, I just try to avoid places where I get photographed."
Besides, Pattinson also reveals that he finds attending public events such as the Oscars very intimidating. "Um, yeah, I am still nervous still going to events. I don't really do much to deal with it, I just continue to freak out," so he tells TeenMix.
In another Robert Pattinson news, it was confirmed earlier this week that he has dropped out of "Parts Per Billion". His commitment for the highly anticipated "New Moon" has been cited as the reason for his withdrawal from the drama flick.

He is such a jerk and when he's singing it sounds like he's drunk.
He is a normal guy doing his job..He deserves his privacy and his time away from his job....how would you like it if someone hounded you outside of your job...It has got to suck....sure he knew what he was getting into...but ppl today are so crazy obsessed and i would freak out too!
That really sucks that Robert will have to lose parts in movies as a serious actor rather than a play thing for teenagers...should've held firm on that "no" there robert. p.s. you were pretty cool in harry potter...can't wait for How to be....and the Salvidor Dali movie!
he may be cute but it sounds like he probably had no choice but to choose acting or he probably liked acting and didnt think of what will happen once his famouse...well for one reason is there will be fans running after him (1)because his cute(2)because his a good actor.people will try taking pics of him (1)because his cute(2)his got a hot body(3)his got sexy eyes.his mostly a loner because he probably likes to be alone or for some other reason...which i dont know.let me put it together his hot,his cute,his sexy and he is attractive to be honest...if i were his girlfriend i wouldnt give a shit about the way he dresses or the way he does his hairstyles,in any ways he is hot...thats all i got to say about robert pattinson. xoxololxoxo

I completelly support Rob.. and very much agree with bella.. yeah he may not be in the best of jobs where the spotlight is following him practically 24/7.. every move and word caught.. sadly for him it does come with the package.. but he loves acting.. he has passion for it.. but i think in his mind he'd rather be a talented actor without the publicity like other actors who've managed it.. the only thing is that he's just started so his life has leaped to a new level.. and that won't happen until he's reached the long career of well respected actors (at least for a while).. :D GO ROB YOU CAN GO THROUGH THIS!!!
Love Robert! I have never felt this way about any actor and I don't understand it. I'm an older fan and I just love his classic look and he just has romanticism in his blood (no pun intended). He is gorgeous to watch. He reminds me of Ashton Kuther some, except not as silly. I read all 4 books and have seen the movie 7 times. I wonder how they will fare with the next movie..he isnt the lead actor in the next book so I'm concerned. Although I like Taylor Launter, I don't believe he can carry the movie on his own.
mabye if some of the girls weren't so nuts and scare him he wouldn't be so scared.it's mostly their fault if you ask me.
he's young, beautiful, talented, sexy....he's got it all. Hopefully, he will get control of his emotional reactions and learn how to handle it all - it's only going to get worse. He's really something to see on the big screen and I can't wait to see more. I'm a fan even if he's getting a little in your face with people.
Just because they are actors doesn't mean that they aren't human. Just because they don't like being followed around and having their every move scrutinized doesn't mean they are in the wrong business. There are plenty of actors and actresses who are successful and manage to stay out of the limelight. Just because someone wants to be in the public eye for business doesn't mean it should have to carry over into their personal life. Have some respect...

hes seems like a actual down to earth guy, i mean he doesnt have a ego like omg im hot actually i think he thinks opposite . he doesnt like the publicity whore like a paris hilton, he likes to keep his private life private and i like that . i mean after a while it must be stressful but he actually doing the right thing. i mean there are some CRAZY FANS out there asking him to be bitten.. AND hes brutally honest i also like that as well he tells things how they are and not fabricate some lie like some celebs do
Its true that he's in the wrong business. I mean its just part of being a celebrity. However, I do see his point. Like you go to some place and you're blinded by the flash of the cameras. I am obsessed with this heartthrob and I like how he's kind of like those celebrities who would do what he loves (acting, music) without the fame. I don't know, I especially love how he's- most of the time- self-conscious. Its an adorable feature...for him anyway.
He's been photographed, signing autographs for 7 months straight. I think he's gone above and beyond the call of duty that anyone should expect of any actor. He was flying home, I can completely understand his desire to be left alone.

Recently it was reported that he lost it on a flight home to London for the holidays. He went on and on about he hates to be bothered by Twilight fans and a flight attendant asked for his autograph and he basically told her to leave him alone.Ya know, if he doesn't like the limelight or having his picture taken or signing autographs, then he should have become an accountant or something. This movie fan is happy to help him move into obscurity by not paying my money to see his films. What a jerk. He chose this profession. It comes with the territory. Everyone who has a job has to deal with the stuff that goes along with it, no matter what the profession. I used to be a fan; who can admire such a jerk? This Twilight fan won't be bothering with him anymore. There is such a thing a human courtesy. It was one autograph from a flight attendent who has to take crap from people all day long, every day. Get over yourself, Robert!
When HP GoF came out, he was being photographed and then right behind him was Daniel and Rob was shuffled out of his way. So, yes, I too agree with Nicolette. As supporting fans, we need to give him the "breathing" space and the patience to feel confident and happy with having his picture taken. No wonder he has been lying low.
He's new to all this fame, so it's going to take some time for him to get used to all the attention. I would feel the same way as he does if this happened to me. You don't know how something truly is intill you walked in that person's shoes.
No kidding he is in the wrong business. Publicity and having your picture taken is part of his job. Do it gracefully...or let one of the many other talented actors who could do your work have a chance to lead the life you have.

i agree with nicolette, with the harry potter movie he wasn't really reconized. BUT HE IS STILL SOOO CUTE! i am on breaking dawn and i want to read the series again!I am just waiting for new moon and all the rest of the movies to come out! i hope they are making more! i can't believe he cut his hair!! well he is just going to have to wear a wig for the movie!
