Jennifer Lopez's love relationship with husband Marc Anthony is reportedly on the rocks. A friend of the couple reveals that they plot to announce their break-up on Valentine's Day next year after an on-stage surprise duet.
"Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc's show at Madison Square Garden on February 14," the source says as quoted by New York Daily News. "Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven't been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell."
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have begun dating since June 2004 and married four days after Marc's divorce with Dayanara Torres was finalized. The couple then renewed their wedding vow few months after twins Max and Esmee were born on February 22, 2008. However, insiders claim that the wedding-vow renewal didn't help, and that their relationship has been rocky in recent months.
Jennifer was reportedly spotted without her wedding ring when attending the gala premiere of movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" earlier this month. Marc was also rumored to attend a party with Eva Longoria at Lavo in Las Vegas on December 8 without his wedding band.
"They were there along with Russell Crowe and his brother Bigram [Zayas]. Marc had been needing to blow off some steam for a while, and this was a good chance to do it. He was trying to be on his best behavior because there were photographers around, so he didn't get too crazy, but he had fun without Jennifer," another source reveals. "Marc's ready to move on. The fighting has been too much for him to handle lately."
No statement has been available from the couple's camp to address the rumor.
