Miley Cyrus will be singing live from a lucky fan's bedroom for new year's bash "FNMTV Presents: A Miley-Sized Surprise ... New Year's Eve 2009". Before performing, she will also be hanging out with the winning fan, visiting his/her friends and helping his/her favorite charity.
Broadcast from 08:00 P.M. until 09:30 P.M. ET, the bedroom show will also feature a live performance from Metro Station. Meanwhile, All Time Low, The Academy Is... and Kevin Rudolf will be making live appearances from Time Square and The Veronicas will be at MTV's studio, interviewing the event's performers and reveling in the night's festivity.
During the December-31 show, viewers will be encouraged to type into a live text-to-screen dialogue about their resolution in 2009. People in Times Square can text NYE to 66333 to submit their messages that may appear on MTV 44 1/2 (MTV's high-definition Times Square screen), and TV viewers can text CHANGE to 66333 for the chance to see their comments appearing on a crawl at the bottom of the television programming throughout the event.
