Carrie Underwood has been lined up as a musical guest at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards. She will be delivering one of her songs at the live show on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 09:00-11:00 P.M., ET/delayed PT.
Hosted by Queen Latifah, the first awards show of 2009 will honor fans' favorites in television, movies and music in a total of 43 categories. Winners will be revealed during the live ceremony broadcast on CBS from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The awards' nominations list in music category is dominated by Rihanna, bagging three nods for "Favorite Female Singer", "Favorite R&B Song" and "Favorite Pop Song". Following her domination with two counts each are Chris Brown, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, and Coldplay.
