Lily Allen 'In Serious Trouble' After Covering Britney Spears' 'Womanizer'

Lily Allen is getting in a 'serious trouble' with her record label because they are not happy with the fact that her cover version of Britney Spears' 'Womanizer' has hit the web.

gets a "serious trouble" with her recording company EMI following her cover version of ' single "Womanizer". She posts a message on her MySpace page thanking , who played the song for the first time during his weekly show on December 12, and at the same time admitting that EMI are not happy with the situation.

Starting with a statement saying the reason behind her action to do the cover is because she loves Britney, Lily continues writing, "It wasn't my intention for it to have whizzed round the world like it has, Mark Ronson asked me for something no one had heard to play on his radio show and womanizer was the only song I had as an attachment on my blackberry and I couldn't get home to send him anything else in time."

"I had asked him to talk all over it so it wouldn't get ripped, but he didn't," Lily explains the matter further. "Thanks mark for getting me in serious trouble with my record company."

Lily Allen herself sets to drop her sophomore major studio effort "" in the U.K. on February 9, 2009. Featuring jazz, country, and dance music sounds, the album is led by "The Fear", a mid-tempo jam blended with a melodic guitar sounds.
