Taylor Swift held a low-key party at her home in Hendersonville, Tenn. on Saturday, December 13 to celebrate her 19th birthday. She was joined by her family, friends and bandmates for the homemade festivity.
The birthday girl treated her guests with lavish buffet that included sushi, mini beef Wellingtons and bacon-wrapped scallops, People quoted her representative as informing. Besides, she also had two ice cream cakes - chocolate peppermint and cookie dough - which came from Cold Stone Creamery. Taylor, additionally, had S'mores cooked up over an outdoor fire pit.
Becoming the star of the night, Taylor entertained her 40 guests with a homemade video she made featuring many of her friends. And before the party was over she and her guests competed in a ping-pong tournament, which was won by her manager.
Earlier this month, Taylor Swift shared to MTV News her plans to celebrate her 19th birthday with her band and crew. "I'm so excited," so she said at that time. "I'm turning 19. ... It's not 18; it's not 21. But it's going to be fun. It's the last year of my teens."
Talking about her birthday wish list, she mentioned, "The best gift for me would be stationery - I really like cards a lot," adding "I asked my family for new glasses, 'cause mine broke, and I need them to drive. I've been, like, taping them, which is, of course, not the best look for anyone."
