'Friday Night Lights' star, Taylor Kitsch, stars as Remy LeBeau who is also known as Gambit in the forthcoming 'X-Men' spin-off, 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'.

AceShowbiz - After another look at Hugh Jackman as Wolverine has been outed through Empire magazine earlier, an image of Gambit in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" has been uncovered. Taken from the January 2009 issue of the magazine by IESB, the first look picture displays "Friday Night Lights" actor Taylor Kitsch being portrayed as Remy LeBeau a.k.a. Gambit throwing a card on what seems to be a gambling table. The image itself can be seen via IESB.

Earlier, "Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman has teased off on what he hopes for the movie's sequel, suggesting that if "Wolverine" saga continues, it may take place in Japan. Of it, he expressed his excitement saying, "Can you just picture Wolverine in Japan with the triads and the samurai? It's just genius." Still, the 40-year-old also stated that if "Wolverine" flops upon its release, he is ready to walk away from the part.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is a prequel to the "X-Men" trilogy. Its story focuses on chronicling the violent and romantic early life of the titular character, including his participation on the Weapon X program and his complex relationship with Victor Creed. Developed under the direction of "Rendition" helmer Gavin Hood, it sees Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds taking the roles of Sabretooth and Deadpool respectively. It will be opened in U.S. theaters on May 1, 2009.
