Madonna admits getting busy with her "Sticky & Sweet" tour is very helpful to get her mind off her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

AceShowbiz - Pop superstar Madonna shares her feeling to the Associated Press in an interview that she has for the very first time since she splits from husband Guy Ritchie, admitting she is saddened by the separation. "I'm sad about my personal life," she openly says in a statement.

"But I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life," Madonna continues. She adds that she's grateful to be in the middle of her "Sticky & Sweet" tour, crediting her heavy workload concerning the tour to have provided "a distraction that keeps me going." "It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do," she reveals.

Following long persistent rumors of separation, it was finally confirmed in mid October that Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to end their nearly-eight-year marriage. Reason behind their break-up was not disclosed, but it has been claimed that Madonna, who acted as the petitioner, said in a sworn statement that she is divorcing Guy for his "unreasonable behavior."

Having been granted a preliminary "quickie divorce" last Friday, November 21, Madonna and Guy's divorce is expected to be finalized in six weeks and a day. As for custody of their children, it is reported that daughter Lourdes, whom Madonna has with her former lover Carlos Leon, will live with her, whereas sons Rocco and David, both of them will split time between the U.S. and London.
