Proposition 8 has made Wanda Sykes "got pissed off" that she publicly confirmed she's gay and has married her same-sex lover.

Wanda Sykes is gay and she is 'proud' of it, so she said during the gay rights rally in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15. During her speech, the actress-comedian claimed it was the passage of same-sex marriage ban in California, called Proposition 8, that has led to her be more outspoken about being gay.

Defending her gay confirmation, Wanda said in her almost five minutes of remarks, "You know, I don't really talk about my sexual orientation. I didn't feel like I had to." She emphasized, "I was just living my life, not necessarily in the closet, but I was living my life."

Greater than that, Wanda also announced that she has married her same-sex partner in California on October 25, 2008, just days before the passage of Proposition 8. Expressing her disagreement over the passage, she told the crowd, "I got pissed off. They pissed me off. I said, 'You know what? Now I gotta get in your face.' And that's what we all have to do now. They pissed off the wrong group of people. They have galvanized a community ... Instead of having gay marriage in California, we're going to get it across the country."

I am beside myself, what is this world coming to? So Wanda gets married to a woman, calls her "her wife" what does that make Wanda? another wife? Homosexuality is a choice, an ignorant one made by those seeking illed attention! Rebels against the nature of GOD.

that is ridiculous ofcourse u have to choose to be gay or not the Lord said that no gay person is going to make it into heaven God said that he loves people that are gay but he hates the sin so that is what anyone needs to think about this could really turn some heads yea you did not choose to be black but thats not ur chose its Gods so thats one u did not choose to be a women well thats mixed why because we now have sex change hospital so you were born a girl so you did not choose then God was trying to tell her that its the wrong path to go but she strayed so God just became a figment to her imagination that pops up every one or two years she had a chose she can still turn I guess
