Joe Jonas is quick to respond on the on-going reports claiming he has cheated on ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift with rumored new girlfriend Camilla Belle. He, furthermore, also wastes no time to address the country music singer's public claim that he dumped her over the phone with a 27-second break-up call.
The middle of the Jonas Brothers begins his post on the band's MySpace blog by writing, "This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently." He then goes on stating, "Several things I will state with all my heart ... I never cheated on a girlfriend."
On the last statement, he explains, "It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me."
Concerning Taylor's claim that he dumped her through a 27-second break-up call, Joe sets the record straight, claiming "For those who have expressed concern over the "27 second" phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did." He continues, "Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear."
Joe ends his post claiming, "There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little."
Addressing the false circulating cheating reports, Joe's brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jones also speak their words in his defense. On the same post on their MySpace blog, the Jonas boys say they are hoping fans wouldn't get affected by the rumors because "We love our fans and it is important to us to protect that relationship."

Honestly, both of them were wrong. If Joe wants to break up with Taylor, he has the right to, but honestly on the phone? I know he's busy, and I respect that, but you should seriously find a way to respect a girl and have the decency to tell it to their face. If I was in Taylor's footsteps, I would have hung up the phone too. However, I do believe it was wrong for Taylor to say some of the things she said, unless she was asked about it. I do think that everyone is blowing it out of proportion, but In my opinion they were both at fault. Though I would probably be team Taylor because when we're upset, we overreact, and we do stupid stuff, that's the way life is.

Ok, So I agree That there is no reason that someone should break up or talk about someone elses feelings over the phone.. that is plain rude, disrespectful, insulting and a slap in the face is like saying that the person is not even worth your time.. I have to say I use to really like the jonas brothers, but I think fame has changed all of them. Joe Jonas especially. Taylor is hurt and is acting as every other 18 year-old would act after getting their heart broken...she is being a bitch to him, and he deserves it. It does not matter that Taylor is the one who ended the 27 second phone call..i would have hung up on him too! The guy was breaking up with her over the phone and he was most likely rude about it!! Also, his blog about the whole Taylor issue was not even that apolgetic or made me see him in a better light. It only made me dislike him more because of the way he phrased things. Okay everyone, this is ridiculous. Stop butting in to their lives! Breakups happen! Its not Joe's fault for having a 'change of heart', and also nobody should blame him for breaking up with her over the phone, he's BUSY, he's on TOUR, he's never with her. Its better to be honest early then make the person wait pretending everythings okay when clearly its not. Relationships are hard, breakups are harder, especially when they're in the public eye. I'm a fan of Joe, and I'm a fan of Taylor. I feel bad for her, heartbreaks suck, but you simply cannot blame him. Nobody knows the full story except for Joe and Taylor, so leave it up to them to figure out, not us.
Camilla is sophisticated, genuine and kind; she seems to be the only one acting appropriately about this. She is also a little less than 3 years older than him. That's not such a dynamic age gap even at their age. It's perfectly acceptable. Taylor is the one acting rather childish, she might have a broken heart but she's certainly not taking it appropriately. The low-class, off-hand comments she's making have her seem like she's scorned, bitter and a bit ridiculous. These are the sorts of things she should be saying to her friends not her fans.
