Chilling Teaser Trailer of Roland Emmerich's '2012'
The end of the world is coming and it is coming fast with a rushing tons of water drowning snow-covered mountains in Roland Emmerich's global cataclysm film, '2012'.

How would the governments of planet Earth prepare six billion people for the end of the world? That is the question offered by "2012 (2009)" teaser trailer as a Tibetan monk runs up the rocky hills to sound off a giant bell. When he manages to strike the bell once, water starts to take over snow-covered mountains and washes everything on its path.

Mixing the closing in of Mayan calendar with natural disasters, "2012" presents an epic adventure about a global cataclysm leading to the end of the world. The movie is said to center on the heroic struggle of the survivors among whom are Amanda Peet and John Cusack's characters.

From the man who brings forth "10,000 B.C." and "The Day After Tomorrow", Roland Emmerich, this Columbia Pictures movie compiles a star-studded cast ensemble that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt and Woody Harrelson. It will be distributed in theaters across U.S. on July 10, 2009.
