AceShowbiz - There's no truth to reports claiming Nicole Scherzinger is engaged to her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton as the songbird has insisted she's in no rush to walk down the aisle. She uttered her denial in an exclusive interview with Britain's the Daily Star on Sunday, November 9.
"I want some 'us' time before we do all that!" Nicole said in a statement. Despite her denial, The Pussycat Dolls beauty claimed everything is well in her relationship with Lewis, stating, "It's great between us. I couldn't be happier and I think he feels the same."
Nicole started rumors of engagement after she was spotted sporting a ring on her engagement finger as she and Lewis were leaving a hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil early last week. The engagement speculation wasn't the first addressed to her and Lewis.
Speaking of Lewis' winning at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Nicole told the Daily Star, "I know this was his dream and to be part of it was such an honor." She then recalled the day when he was crowned the new Formula One world champion, saying, "Our eyes met and we needed no words - it was magical. Oh, listen to me getting all gooey!"
