A representative for Leonardo DiCaprio has denied FOX News' report claiming the actor has "total respect" for Zac Efron and is passing on his sex symbol status to the "High School Musical" star. To Just Jared, the representative insisted the article "was totally made up" despite the fact that it included Leo's quotes.
On Thursday, November 6, FOX News published an article, which the publication claimed to be an interview conducted by Neil Sean with Leo. It quoted the movie hunk as saying, he has "total respect" for young stars, like Zac just to name one.
Per the article, which has been removed soon following the denial issued by Leo's representative, the 33-year-old star stated, "I look at young Zac Efron and think 'Go get it pal, leave me in peace.' I was never happy with the teen idol tag at all - never wanted to be a sex symbol or all that stuff - it was the work that appealed to me. Really nothing else."
Nevertheless, the representative insisted, "Leo never talked to this guy," when referring to Neil. The representative went on telling E! Online that all the quotes put on the article "are made up." FOX News, meanwhile, has not yet commented on that matter.
