In support of her Blaqstarr-featuring song, 'S.U.S (Save Ur Soul)', M.I.A. premieres a low-budget music video which is directed by herself.
M.I.A. brings out a small-budget music video to promote her latest song "S.U.S (Save Ur Soul)". Directed by herself, the music video begins with a look at a man singing to the camera. When a thunder-like sound is heard, the man put himself aside and gives a woman a chance to appear in front of the camera and continue what he has started.
"S.U.S (Save Ur Soul)" is M.I.A.'s brand new single which features Blaqstarr and is expected to be among other tracks on her digital mini album which is tentatively called "How Many Votes Fix Mix". No release date has been set for the EP.
Previously, the singer, who is expecting her first child, announced that she would take a permanent leave from the music industry. "It was my last ever show. And it still is. I stopped touring after that and I didn't want to make music again. I was quite happy to just leave it all behind. I was happy with what I had achieved," she said at that time.
No words have been made to confirm if she will release a full-length studio album after her EP is released or will keep her promise to retire.
