NBC has rescheduled some of its series including 'Law and Order', the long-running series which will be premiered for its 19th season on November 5.

AceShowbiz - NBC has announced that "Law & Order", the crime drama which is scheduled to air for its 19th season in early 2009, will comeback sooner for its premiere on November 5. The series' new season will be aired at the same time as its regular schedule on NBC, Wednesday night at 10 P.M.
The new season will reunite main characters from the previous seasons such as Detective Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto), Detective Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson), and Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson). "Law & Order", a police legal drama created by Dick Wolf, is the longest-running drama series of American television since its debut on September 13, 1990. The series received 10.8 million viewers for its last season.
At the same time, NBC also has announced the reschedule time of some series like "Knight Rider", "Life", "Lipstick Jungle", and "Momma's Boys". "Life" moves to Wednesday night at 9, between "Knight Rider" at 8, and "Law & Order" at 10. Meanwhile, "Lipstick Jungle" will replace "Life" schedule on Friday night at 10, after "Crusoe". New Wednesday's slot will start on November 5, while Friday's slot on October 31.
In the meantime, NBC has delayed the premiere of Ryan Seacrest and Andrew Glassman produced series, "Momma's Boys", to December 16 at 10 P.M., after the finale of "The Biggest Loser". Then, the series will move again to its regular schedule on Monday 9 P.M starting from December 22, where it will give "Heroes" a break for a few weeks.
NBC co-chairmen Ben Silverman and Marc Graboff have a reason and opinion about the reschedule, saying, "These moves will play to the shows' mutual strengths and will help us to reinforce our lineup." In further explanation, they added, "A Wednesday night with wall-to-wall satisfying mysteries and great dramas, paced by the return of the original 'Law & Order' to its home on Wednesdays, will provide creative continuity that night. Fridays will feature escapist drama with 'Lipstick Jungle' joining 'Crusoe.' Additionally, this strategy for 'Momma's Boys' offers the show a more favorable launch platform."
