AceShowbiz - A more revealing "Watchmen" promotional video has been aired at the Spike TV's third annual Scream Awards on Tuesday, October 21 and the bootleg version of it has been unraveled. Previewing many never-before-seen footage from the comic book adaptation, the footage displays some of the heroes' powers, the romance between them, and the action sequences to be expected.

Before the footage was screened, director Zack Snyder, Malin Ackerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Carla Gugino went up to the Scream Awards' stage and promoted the movie. On the occasion, Dean Morgan promises that "Watchmen" will "blow your mind". In the player below, the footage starts on the 1:19 minute mark.

Adapted from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' comic book series of the same title, "Watchmen" follows superhero-turned-vigilante Rorschach as he investigates the murder of his former colleague and discovers much more than a simple homicide case. As he goes on with his investigation, he uncovers the plot to kill and discredit all other superheroes as well as a far more intricate conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history.

Starred also by Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode and Jackie Earle Haley, the movie is directed by Snyder using the script from David Hayter and Alex Tse. Despite the legal battle between Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox that has yet to be resolved, Warner are still enlisting the film for March 6, 2009 release in the U.S.
