Zac Efron had double celebrations Saturday, October 18 to mark his 21st birthday; an intimate dinner with family, friends, "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" co-stars, and girlfriend, and an after party at Chateau Marmont. And he kept his promise to "not going Vegas" but still "have fun" for the bash.
The dinner was held at Italian restaurant Pace in L.A. Zac's parents, brother and actress girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were among the people attending the feast. They were all joined by Zac's "HSM3" co-stars Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale, and her dancer boyfriend Jared Murillo. Zac's celebrity friends, like Michelle Trachtenberg, Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow and singing sisters Aly & AJ were also there.
Guests arrived with wrapped gifts, including bottles of liquor taking into account that Zac has reached the age of consent to drink alcohol in the U.S. He reportedly got Ketel One Vodka, Jack Daniels Whiskey and Grey Goose Vodka.
No words on what his parents and girlfriend got him for the special day. Previously, Vanessa told the press she got "a surprise" for Zac, but wouldn't mention what it was.
Zac, who kept it casual by wearing a t-shirt and jacket, then continued the party to nearby Chateau Marmont Hotel for an afterparty with some of his dinner guests.

Love the whole cast. Love you and Vanessa together on on off screen. I see that you are beginning to resemble each other. That's what happen when you are compatible. I wish you both well on your relationship and pray that you both will continue to work together, communicate, and mostly trust each other and be honest. Look at couples that have survived and get advice. Being in love off-screen is a challenge. I don't know because haven't experience it but respect each other and love each other unconditionally.
