The concert, called "Welcome Home DJ AM", is set to be held October 14 at Avalon Hollywood and will feature performances from Mark Ronson, Steve Aoki, Danny Masterson, and Mix Master Mike.

AceShowbiz - riends of DJ AM are throwing a huge "welcome home" party for the celebrity disc jockey after he survived a tragic plane crash last month in South Carolina, announcing a benefit concert for people to attend. Mark Ronson, Steve Aoki, Danny Masterson and Mix Master Mike are just some of AM's friends confirmed to perform at the so-called "Welcome Home DJ AM" party, to be held October 14 at Avalon Hollywood.

In a statement to People magazine Wednesday, October 8, event organizers said AM has been "a close friend ... for many years," and the party is being organized not just as a fundraiser, but because his friends feel they "owe him a debt of gratitude that we can never repay, but we hope this helps just a bit." The organizers also added, "This a once in a lifetime event and we're proud to be a part of it."

Tickets to "Welcome Home DJ AM" party cost $20 each and are available at Wantickets.com. All proceeds from the cause will go to memorial funds for those lost in the deadly accident. Jenni Weinman, a publicist for AM, said she didn't know if the DJ would attend the event.

Being discharged from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta on September 26, AM was seen making his first public appearance on September 19, showing up for the funeral of Chris Baker, who served as an assistant to Travis Barker for several years and was a close friend to both musicians.
