Insisting on building her career as a solo singer, Michelle Williams rules out the possibility to return to Destiny's Child.

AceShowbiz - Former member of Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams (II) has spoken out about her reluctance to reunite with the R&B and pop girl group. "I haven't heard anything about a Destiny's Child reunion. I'm focusing on me now and want to stand on my own two feet," the singer says.

The 28-year-old singer, furthermore, reveals that she is on the way of slowly building a strong basis for her solo career. "I'm definitely carving out my own niche. I don't look to them for anything. I've got a long way to go cos I'm starting over but I'm happy for it to build slowly," she adds in a statement.

Michelle's latest album was called "Unexpected" and will be available for purchase, starting from October 7. Her third solo effort is described as her first full length contemporary R&B album, moving away from the gospel style of her former efforts.

Previously, her other band mates, Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles hinted that there was a chance for the three of them to be back on the group. Now that Michelle has revealed her own thought, Kelly as well as Beyonce have been silent regarding the possible reunion.

Elsewhere, Beyonce has detailed her next record. Co-produced by herself, the album will hit the market on November 18 under the courtesy of Hollywood Records. Two advance singles, "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies", are expected to be dropped simultaneously on October 7.
