When asked how it feels to be compared to legendary The Beatles, hot teen band Jonas Brothers say that they are honored but refuse to compare themselves to the legend. "It is an honor but we definitely do not compare ourselves to the Beatles. They are our idols," they wrote on their MySpace page.
Elaborating their statement, the trio continue explaining that John Lennon and friends truly become their inspiration. "We look to them as a source of inspiration but we don't think anyone will have the impact that the Beatles have had on music," they added.
Most recently, the Jonas boys are seen in San Pedro, California filming their "Lovebug" music video with beautiful actress Camilla Belle who reportedly makes a cameo appearance in the video. In related news, the band are also confirmed to hold a Los Angeles' special concert in addition to all the shows that they've been doing. The show will be held on November 14 to celebrate the launch of American Eagle Outfitter's new kids line, 77Kids.

So I googled this topic, because yesterday my brothers girlfriend was over. And they were in my brothers/my(we share :() room, I've covered my half of the room in beatles related stuff. Such as posters, CD covers etc... My brothers girlfriend felt the need to express her disgust for The Beatles and for The Jonas Brothers, then futher more stated they were very much alike. I laughed at this, because it was the most ridiculous thing, I've ever heard in my entire life. The Beatles have been famous for many, many years.. and I'll just say I'm generally young.. The Beatles were not my.. "era". But I wish more than anything they were, and that I could of been to one of their concerts. But let me tell you, The Beatles WILL be around.. in the hearts of people.. of all ages.. forever. Some people come into your life, and leave quickly. Some people come into your life, and leave permanent footprints and your never the same. The Beatles touched the lives of many people, and will always continue to do so. Whether it be through the recent Rockband game, or Across The Universe. I know, my generation can and do love The Beatles. They are the greatest band to ever exist, and they will continue to be the greatest band EVER. Because really? the jonas brothers? can they even begin to touch the impact on the world, The Beatles had. They can't, not even with a 20 foot pole. So really, there should be no comparison needed. Because, The Beatles are five-hundred-million times more than the Jonas brothers ever will be.

I have had enough of these clowns posing as the jonas brothers...they claim they refuse comparisons between themselves and the beatles, yet everytime I see these fools they are mimicking some epic beatle imagery. The theater I go to sports a huge cardboard cutout of the jonas brothers stepping off a plane (think beatles JFK arrival)...the only difference is the beatles were greeted by a giant crowd of fans and the beatles had somewhere to be...also just now I saw a video (so cleverly choreographed) of the JB being chased by screaming girls (i wont say fans because I am sure a smart number of them did it for the money)....but come on...stop with the pathetic attempts to be this generations beatles...it actually somehow makes the beatles seem cheap, so if you respect them as much as you guys say, just stop....

I believe that the The Beatles and the jonas bros. have their own styles and talents. I am a bigger Beatles fan and i don't listen too much modern music because i prefer and LOVE the oldies. I think it's very thoughtful of them not wanting to be comared to The Beatles.

Obviously the boys realize that they can't be compared with the GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME!! Nobody should be compared to The Beatles and their awesomeness. Still, the Jo' Bros are not bad.
