Wentz told Playboy magazine he and Ashlee Simpson are 90 percent sure the baby she's carrying is a boy and will be due to be born around Thanksgiving.
Waiting for the birth of his child with wife Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz reveals a little too much in an interview with Playboy magazine, claiming they're sure their upcoming baby will be a boy. He also told the magazine that his singer wife is due to give birth around Thanksgiving.
"We know with accuracy that it's a boy, and our due date is around Thanksgiving," the Fall Out Boy's bassist and back up vocalist told the October issue of Playboy. Though so, he admitted that he and Ashlee have yet decided on a name. "My friend Andrew said, 'Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator,'" he admitted.
Wentz' confirmation on the sex of his baby and his wife's due date came just days after he and Ashlee were forced to deny rumors that they're expecting twins. The mounting twins rumors are in all probabilities inspired by Wentz himself when he allegedly referred to his not-yet-born baby as "them" during a radio interview earlier this year. Adding fuel to the rumors, rapper Tyga who's a friend of Wentz, has also been reported in various newspapers as saying recently that the couple are "definitely" having twins.
Wentz has denied the rumors, telling US Weekly on the red carpet of the MTV VMAs on Sunday, September 7, "It's going to be a big disappointment when it's only one!" A representative for Ashlee, additionally, also insisted rumors of twins were "definitely not true."
