"Labor Pains", the comedy movie from Lara Shapiro, has just got a trailer. Giving out the first look into Lindsay Lohan's first major lead role after her unsuccessful thriller "I Know Who Killed Me", the promotional video also displays former "American Idol" finalist Kevin Covais as her co-worker, Chris Parnell as her nasty boss and Cheryl Hines as her supportive friend.

Telling the story about a young girl who would do anything to keep her job, "Pains" centers on Thea, an assistant working on a publishing house. Though hating her boss due to his meanness, she could not afford to lose the job. When one day she is about to get fired, she lies to her boss that she is expecting. Now, she has to make everybody believes that she is pregnant. The flick has been shot starting on June 9, 2008 and wrapped out on July 16, 2008, but it is slated to be released in 2009.

For all those that think Lindsay Lohan is going downhill it's only because you're letting the paps and press inform you about things that are not true. If only people would give her a chance they'd realise that she's actually really talented, and we've witnessed this in the success, Parent Trap [1998] or her lead act in Mean Girls [2004]. She's a great actress, if only people would let aside her personal life and realise that her career is all that should be concerning them. Wish the best for the movie when it's released.

Hell Yeah man! I saw the trailer at Youtube, and it was quite charming and truly laughable, worthy of my money being able to watch the film. This project might propel her back to the at 'least' freaky friday' stature of respect with the film industry. I just hope for next film will garner her enough respect as to what she really is 'an a-list' actress. I just hope she doe not make that be her weak point.
