Michael Jackson Made Presenter at MTV VMAs?

The King of Pop reportedly will probably make an appearance at the upcoming awards show as a presenter with sister Janet Jackson by his side.

AceShowbiz - The upcoming MTV Video Music Awards that will be held on September 7 in Paramount Pictures Studios, Hollywood, seems to be made use as the medium for celebrities comeback. After Britney Spears was put on the show's commercial ads, it is now said that Michael Jackson would probably appear on the show as a presenter with his sister Janet Jackson allegedly as his partner.

TMZ reports that a source close to the awards told them that MTV "have been working OT to get Jacko to reappear at the awards," and that the deal has been sealed on him presenting "an award with sister Janet". MTV themselves have yet to release any list of presenters that will hand out the Moonman at the event. They have only announced several names of performers that include Pink, Rihanna, Lil Wayne and Jonas Brothers among others.

Recently, it was said that Britney would appear on the show as the performer but moments later her rep debunked the speculation and said that she has not been scheduled to any kind of performance. However, a new speculation surfaces that she will only attend the show as a presenter and rumor has it, she has been looking forward to be paired with Olympic Gold medalist Michael Phelps.

On top of the hypes circulating around the anticipated event, MTV have just announced the contenders for the professional categories such as Best Choreography, Best Direction and Best Special Effects. Under the choreography, Chris Brown nets two more nods for "Kiss Kiss" and "Forever" that made him in line to win five statuettes. Others picking the new nominees are Adele, Death Cab for Cutie, Erykah Badu, Katy Perry, The White Stripes and Coldplay among others. The nominees in the new categories can be found on MTV.com.

Update 08/29: The rumor has been debunked with Janet Jackson's rep Patti Webster confirming to AceShowbiz that "Janet will not be attending the MTV Awards".
