Sugababes are inviting young girls to take part as extra cameos in their new music video for single 'Girls' off upcoming LP.
While their upcoming not-yet-titled LP hasn't been confirmed for release, British pop trio Sugababes have recently announced that they are looking for young girls to play as cameos in their new music video. "We're looking for 18-30 year olds to come and take part," they wrote on their MySpace entry.
The music video which is aimed at promoting the group's latest single called "Girls", will be shot on Wednesday, August 27 in a London location and the selected girls are expected to come on time in the location. They say, "We'll need you to be available on Wednesday for the whole day (potentially 8 AM at midnight) and able to get yourself to and from the filming location."
Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range, and Amelle Berrabah promise no payment for those who will be the cameos. "We can't pay you for taking part, but you will be fed and looked after," the group says as explaining the term and condition.
Furthermore, the group say that the video scene will mostly be captured in a party-like atmosphere, where the cameos will do all the dancing in an urban style while the band perform the tune. For those who are interested, there will be no phone calls as all the requirements, including a recent photo, mobile phone number, and email address has to be mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. "As we expect a very large amount of interest we cannot answer phonecalls about this so please do not phone Partizan. Email all queries to the email address," says the group at the end of their announcement.
Elsewhere, despite the muddy conditions, Sugababes had successfully drawn a huge lively crowd at V Festival last weekend. Accompanied by three dancers for some of their tracks, the group performed hit singles "Hole In The Head", "Freak Like Me", and "Push The Button".
