Putting aside his acting career, Terrence Howard picks up his guitar in new music video for single 'Sanctuary' taken from upcoming LP 'Shine Through It'.

AceShowbiz - Jumping from the big screen to singing vintage soul, Terrence Howard has just premiered a music video, where he picks up guitar and strums the tune away. The video is aimed at promoting his new song called "Sanctuary" off his debut album entitled "Shine Through It". His first album is planned to hit the stores on September 2.

In an interview, Terrence says that his first tune is inspired by Heidi Klum's love story. He also admits giving a light-rock, jazzy feel to some of his songs, like "Love Makes You Beautiful" and anti-materialist "Plenty". Furthermore, he declares that he has written songs talking about childhood in "Mr. Johnson's Lawn", and grown-up romance in "No. 1 Fan", "She Was Mine", and "Spanish Romance". For its music arrangements, Terrence is reported to give rooms for flutes, trumpets, saxophones and violas.
