AceShowbiz - Them being spotted together provides further evidence that they're couple. Michelle Williams, in companion of her daughter Matilda, was photographed together with director Spike Jonze only to add fuel to rumors that they're dating.
Williams and Jonze were snapped boarding a private jet bound for Oregon on Thursday, July 31. She was seen wearing a black top and short cream-colored pants, pushing daughter Matilda in her stroller. Jonze was spotted in a rather formal suit, wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a striped tie.
The mother-daughter duo and Jonze were seen strolling together outside the airport. At one point of time, the actress even was seen smiling. Despite their togetherness, neither of them has confirmed speculation of a romance.
Williams and Jonze's first meeting occurred in 2006 when she auditioned for his film adaptation of the classic children's story "Where the Wild Things Are," which is slated to be released next year. She was offered a role, but later withdrew from the project for an undisclosed reason.
Rumors of their alleged romance sparked late last month after Star magazine cited a source who claimed to have seen "Michelle kissed Spike with a closed mouth on the corner of his lips." Talks on that matter have been abuzz since then.
Prior to the romance rumors, Williams was rarely seen making a public outing. She was left devastated by the death of her ex-fiance and father of daughter Matilda, actor Heath Ledger. Jonze remains single since splitting from his wife, director Sofia Coppola.
