The Australian pop singer is having a smooth debut in the U.S. after managed to put her new LP topping the U.S. new artist chart this week.
Australian pop sensation Delta Goodrem has finally marked her arrival in the U.S. with the release of her album "Delta", dropped on July 15. The new LP itself has already attracted the attention of the U.S. music public and managed to top this week's Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
Delta's new album's success is also followed by her music video for "In This Life" that managed to climb to #11 position at the Top 20 Video Countdown last week. The track is also keep moving strong on the AC airplay chart as many people are still requesting to spin the track.
Beside having lots of appreciation from music fans and also the media, Delta's musicality is also being acknowledged by lots of celebrities and TV personalities, such as Jay Leno and Kelly Ripa. On her TV show Live With Regis & Kelly, Ripa praised the pop singer saying, "She was phenomenal. She's gorgeous and really quite a talent... She's very big around the world and now she's going to conquer America."

Beside promoting her new album, Delta herself has another music project that she has just finished. The singer is being involved on a benefit album, to be dropped on July 29, called "Olivia Newton-John & Friends: A Celebration In Song". The purpose of the new LP is to help cancer victims by giving all the proceeds from the record's sale to Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.
