The Hollywood actor reportedly has set his eye on a new project outside of the big screen by building a new record company.
Matthew McConaughey is expanding his career on the entertainment scene by entering the music world. Matthew reportedly has built his own record label and has already had an artist set to be promoted.
According to a source the actor is currently seeking for distributional support from major labels to help his new record company. "He's looking for a distribution deal with all the major labels for his own label," the source said.
The source also revealed that the artist that Matthew about to promote is a male reggae singer called Mishka. Revealing the news the source told NY Post's PageSix.com, "His first artist is a reggae guy called Mishka. The album will be called 'Above the Bones' and the first single is 'Here Comes Da Train'."
Beside producing other artist, Matthew himself reportedly is also working on a soundtrack album for his upcoming movie "Surfer Dude". That news was confirmed by the actor's representative, but adding that "there is no single yet."
