Kerr's brother and mother denounced the split rumors, insisted the supermodel and the actor "have never been closer" and that "he's meeting her in Paris next week."
Going against Internet reports that Miranda Kerr has ditched Orlando Bloom for ex-boyfriend, oil heir Brandon Davis, her family said the supermodel and the actor "have never been closer." A story on the website of U.S. tabloid magazine In Touch Weekly quoted an 'insider' as saying the couple have split and "that she has rebounded into the arms of her former flame, oil heir Brandon Davis."
The article furthermore claimed that Kerr and Davis were first spotted together, shopping on L.A.'s Robertson Boulevard last November. Despite their denial of speculation of a romance, they were said to have been spotted "canoodling at two clubs in N.Y.C." on July 12 and were "full on making out" that "they didn't seem to care who saw."
Kerr's younger brother Matthew and mother Therese however denounced the couple have split, telling Confidential they were "frustrated and upset" over the reports. "Miranda and Orlando have never been closer and are happier right now more so than ever. He's meeting her in Paris next week," her mother stated.
Brother Michael, who was with Kerr when she was meeting Davis, set the record straight on the false reports, telling the press "We were just out with a few other friends from Australia having a good time and we bumped into Brandon while we were at 10ak. They have been friends for a while and we just said hi, chatted for a bit and that was it. There definitely wasn't any kissing - nothing could be further from the truth."
