The first music video from the 'Heroes' star, presenting her changing to different types of women to give a guy a 'wake up call'.

AceShowbiz - Hayden Panettiere has taken the first step of promoting her music career by releasing the music video for "Wake Up Call". Not only the song would be the first single lifted from her upcoming album, but it will also be used as the jingle of clothing line Candie's.

The video basically shows Panettiere coming to a club and meeting a guy who becomes the target of her seduction from afar. She would frequently change her looks from the sexy blonde, to the classic brunette to a sporty girl with funky attitude. Explaining on the concept, the starlet said, "The concept of my video is to give a guy who doesn't treat his girlfriend well a wake up call and show him all the different aspects of a woman's personality. Candie's is the perfect fit because their styles are diverse and benefit the video, as they show off all the different sides of my character."

"Wake Up Call" will be released as a single digitally on August 5 and also be used in a TV ad for Candie's.

The debut album from Panettiere meanwhile, will be released in 2009 through Hollywood Records. In a recent interview, the star of TV series "Heroes" said that the album will be "electic", saying "There are very different, very diverse songs on the album. They're a little bit eclectic. I just wanted to make sure that the music didn't all sound the same." The album took 4 years in the making and Panettiere said "the music changed so much over the years".

The 18-years-old came to the spotlight through her acting career in "Heroes" but before that she has roamed through the music realm in the '90s. She was even nominated for Grammy Awards in 1999 for Best Spoken Word Album for Children for A Bug's Life Read-Along. She also recorded a track for Disney's "Ice Princess" as well as another for "Bridge to Terabithia".
