It's Not Over: Cristiano Ronaldo and Girlfriend Nereida Gallardo Still Together

Much contrary to tabloid reports, Cristiano Ronaldo and his model girlfriend Nereida Gallardo are not splitting up. The couple are still very much together, at least according to the beauty herself who slammed the break up rumors and insisted the soccer stud didn't dump her.

Put the break up rumors which have been all over the net to an end, Gallardo told the press outside her home in Majorca, "I don't know where this story has come from. I have spoken to him today, as always." She went on insisting, "We are together. He told me he loves me and I him."

As if to confirm her denial of the break up reports, Gallardo was also snapped sporting the huge diamond ring Ronaldo has given her.

Despite Gallardo's denials, an unidentified source says the couple are finished, suggesting that Ronaldo was upset by reports about Gallardo's past relationship with footballer Sergio Ramos. "Details of past relationships became known to Cristiano which he hadn't known before and he was unhappy," the source told British tabloid the Sun. "He had also become bored of the relationship. He's a young man and felt it was the right time."

Other insider, elsewhere told the Daily Star, "In his heart of hearts he still loves her very much but he just can't get his head around all the attention she brings with her. Nereida is a very sexy woman and Cristiano is an extremely passionate man - but he is a possessive man too."

Ronaldo first met Gallardo, a part-time nursing assistant and struggling model, at a nightclub in her hometown of Majorca, Spain. The couple have been dating for five months.
