Apparently, people behind "Tropic Thunder" have found a new way to promote their latest comedy movie. In the latest promotional effort for the upcoming Ben Stiller's movie, DreamWorks/Paramount let out a trailer for the movie's mockumentary called "Rain of Madness".
Giving preview to what happen during the shooting of the fictional Vietnam War movie, the compilation of clips is filled with footages taken on the set and the craziness of the actors and filmmakers involved in the filming of the outrageous war movie. Through this trailer, viewers also can catch bits of "Tropic Thunder" scenes as well as interviews with the three main leading characters. Coming from the star of "Meet the Parents", Stiller, "Tropic Thunder" is a movie about a group of star actors attempting to film a Vietnam war movie like none others, but ended up to be involved in a real war when they accidentally cross the territory of a heroine cartel. Starred also by Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Steve Coogan and Danny McBride among others, the DreamWorks Pictures' tidbit is coming out on August 15.
