Screen Gems have unveiled another terrifying trailer for their latest horror film about a group of people stuck on a zombie-infested building when it is quarantined by the CDC.
Their assignment is simple, follow a group of Los Angeles Fire Department on one of their night shifts. But, the task that firstly appear to be a fun job is about to turn for the worse for television reporter Angela Vidal and her cameraman. Through the new trailer of "Quarantine", viewers can see how the chaos starts to unfold and terrifies everyone involved.
Providing glimpses into the upcoming horror movie by John Erick and Drew Dowdle, the video footage opens with a sort of fun documentary with Vidal giving reports from a Los Angeles Fire Station and hanging around with the firemen. Then, the station gets a routine 911 call and soon Vidal and her cameraman join the rescuers when they examine a small apartment building.
When the firemen broke into an apartment, they find a disturbing discovery, a woman infected by something unexplainable attacking police officers. Confused and shocked with what they have seen, everyone in the building are trying to make their way out only to learn that the building has been quarantined and they are left to face their horrendous death.
Directed by John Erick Dowdle, "Quarantine" is a remake to Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza's Spanish horror film "REC". It features the likes of Jennifer Carpenter, Steve Harris, Jay Hernandez, Johnathon Schaech and Columbus Short. It will be distributed to the theaters across the U.S. by Screen Gems on October 10.
