In a twisted report concerning Stephen Sommers' upcoming action movie, 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra', it is said that there will be two Destros appearing in it.

AceShowbiz - In March, "G.I. Joe" fans were given the chance to see the Hasbro's action figures in real life when Paramount Pictures revealed characters stills of "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" and through them, it is confirmed that Cobra leader, Destro, is being depicted by Christopher Eccleston. Yet, recently some publication have posted an interesting news regarding the particular character.

Broken out by HissTank.com, report coming from their source at the European Cinema Expo on the casting for Destro suggested that the bad guy has two actors filling in, Eccleston and David Murray. "It would seem that David Murray the original actor picked to play James McCullen AKA Destro is still indeed set to play Destro in the G.I. Joe Movie 'Rise Of Cobra'," Hiss Tank wrote.

Explaining further on Murray's Destro, the site noted that the Destro Murray will be portraying won't be the same with Eccleston. Murray will be the original Destro, James McCullen the First, while Eccleston is set to play James McCullen Destro XXIV. Additionally, Murray's part will provide viewers with the background story to the Destro Clan and how this villain ends up with its signature face-covering metal mask.

"Rise of Cobra" is a live action adaptation movie of Hasbro's "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" toy franchise. It resolves around the heroic G.I. Joe team and their fight against evil Cobra Organization. The movie stars Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Dennis Quaid, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ray Park, Marlon Wayans, Rachel Nichols and many others.
